Samsung’s Galaxy AI which will be available with the Galaxy S24 series, works behind the scenes as well as centerstage. On-device AI ensure speedy and secure processing on your device while enhancing security. But it’s the other part of Galaxy AI that holds all the fun — the AI features.
Now, the features themselves and what they can do aren’t entirely new but what makes Galaxy AI stand out is that it all happens on-device, meaning you don’t need an active internet connection to use these features! Here’s what you can expect:

Generative photo editing
Is the background scene always busy leaving you with less than perfect snaps? Samsung’s Generative Edit feature lets you remove unwanted elements seamlessly and apply effects with a simple long tap.
It works similar to the Magic Eraser feature you can find on the Google Photos app, if you’re familiar with.
Live Translate: Break Language Barriers in Real Time

Live Translate on the Galaxy S24 keeps you from getting lost in translation by offering real-time translation for voice calls or text From the phone or messages app, simply tap the Translate icon. Once activated, Galaxy AI will listen and translate so even when you’re on a call and someone is speaking a language you don’t understand — your S24 device can translate for you. It can also work on menus, signs, labels, and more.
Circle to Search with Google
AI is in the business of making things easy for its users. With Circle to Search, you don’t have to leave the app your on to find out more about something. With this feature, users only need to circle, highlight, or tap on the screen for an instant Google search — especially useful with the S-Pen in hand.
Transcript Assist
Voice memos just got smarter with Transcript Assist.
Transcribe, translate, and even summarize your recordings, all done on-device without needing an internet connection. Simply record using the Voice Recorder app, then tap the Transcript Assist icon. This feature can transcribe, translate, and even understand your voice memos enough to summarize them for you.
Chat Assist
Forget typos exist with Chat Assist.
Whether you’re crafting emails, social media posts, or messages, this feature suggests different ways to phrase your text. Choose the tone that suits your message best, and let Chat Assist elevate your writing game. Think ChatGPT but Samsung.
Note Assist
Samsung’s Notes app gets a boost with Note Assist.
