First unveiled during the 8th Philippine International Motor Show, Honda has confirmed that the all-new BR-V is all set for its launch this November 21 as the first batch of units arrive on Philippine shores.
The All-New Honda BR-V boasts solid lines and a dynamic body shape meant to exude an aggressive and sporty feel. Partnered with 17-inch allow wheels, the next-gen model also offers higher ground clearance.
Under the hood, the SUV packs a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine offering a maximum 121 PS at 6,600rpm and maximum torque of 145Nm at 4,300rpm. A new CVT also means the vehicle offers better fuel efficiency and acceleration response.
The Honda BR-V still offers a comfortable seven-passenger interior equipped with better legroom and headroom compared to before. The One-Touch Tumble feature quickly flips the second-row seats and the Drive Down mechanism takes care of the third row. The cargo area has also been expanded.
For the VX CVT Honda SENSING and V CVT variants, leather seats are available while High Grade Fabric is supplied to the rest.
A first on the new BR-V is a seat height adjuster and adjustable steering wheel for better comfort and convenience for the driver.
In the cockpit area, the seven-seater SUV is equipped with modern-day essentials such as a 7-inch touchscreen display that supports both AppleCarPlay and Android Auto.
To support its goal of a collision-free future by 2050, Honda has provided the All-New BR-V VX CVT with Honda SENSING – the company’s suite of advanced safety and driver-assistive features. Additionally, the BR-V will have standard safety features as well such as speed sensing auto door locks, reverse cameras, among others.
Exclusive to the VX CVT Honda SENSING variant are the side curtain airbags, LaneWatch Camera, and rear seat belt reminder.
Walk Away auto lock is available for this variant as well as on the V CVT. Remote Engine Start will also be available for the VX CVT Honda SENSING, V CVT, and S CVT variants.
