As part of its expansion, Ascendion aims to create at least 6,000 new jobs over the next three years, contributing an estimated $500 million to the local economy. The Philippines will play a key role in the company’s global delivery operations, focusing on AI-enhanced software engineering.
Every software engineer in Ascendion’s Philippine workforce will receive AI deployment certification, ensuring they are equipped for the evolving tech landscape.
To support this growth, the company is launching AI Studio Manila, a new facility dedicated to AI development, research, and innovation. Additionally, Ascendion is introducing two AI-powered platforms: Ascendion AVA+, an accelerator designed to improve productivity and risk management, and MeTAL, a talent orchestration platform that connects Filipino professionals with high-impact global projects.
Filipino engineers are already working with Fortune 500 companies, helping businesses apply AI to software development, automate processes, and reduce operational costs. Success stories include a logistics company streamlining operations through machine learning and a healthcare firm cutting data migration costs by 90%.
“With one of the most tech-savvy populations in the world, the Philippines is uniquely positioned to lead in AI-powered digital transformation,” said Manan Mehta, senior vice president for global growth markets at Ascendion. “We are committed to creating a stronger, more agile organization that drives innovation at a global scale.”
By integrating Collabera Digital under the Ascendion brand, the company is reinforcing its commitment to the Philippines, making it a key hub for AI-driven software engineering and global talent development.
