The fully integrated, all-electric flagship car from BMW is a member of the model family and, as such, shines a bright light on the premium, sustainability-driven philosophy at the top of the company’s model lineup.

The reinvention of high-luxury personal mobility centers on this car.

A number of distinguishing design characteristics distinguish the first-ever BMW i7’s sustainable nature.

The BMW i sub-emblem is shown on its fully enclosed kidney grille, which was designed to maximize airflow. BMW i Blue is the standard color for the horizontal bar in the lower air intake, ornamental features in the side skirts and rear apron, and the surrounds of the BMW emblem at the front and back.

The standard BMW crystal headlights’ Iconic Glow add to the front end’s commanding appearance by producing a light effect that is unequaled by any other vehicle. Sidelights and daytime running lights are represented by Swarovski crystals that adopt L-shapes and is backlit by LED lights.

Moreover, a visually dramatic Welcome and Farewell Scenario is laid out by the crystal headlights.

As a client approaches their car, the lighted kidney grille surround of the BMW first turns on, then the BMW crystal headlights’ heightened glitter. The standard-fit dynamic light carpet is then displayed.

The side profile of the first-ever BMW i7 exhibits remarkable visual beauty.

The practically flush-fitted side windows with undetectable seats serve to further this appearance. The daytime running lights and the rear lights are connected by the vehicle’s shoulder line, which divides the tight bodywork.

The car makes it simple for the back passengers to get in and out thanks to its semi-automatic doors and soft-close feature. 21-inch BMW Individual aerodynamic 910 Multicolor Dark Grey 3D polished buff mixed wheels are also included with the BMW i7. Completing the look are slim LED rear lights.

Every movement of the accelerator is authentically accompanied by a driving sound that has a stunningly clear timbre and spherical components. The all-electric BMW i7 may use any of the soundscapes created as part of the partnership between the BMW Group and famous film score composer Hans Zimmer.

The BMW i7’s fifth-generation BMW eDrive system consists of highly integrated drive units at the front and rear axles that house the electric motor, power electronics, and gearbox in a single, very small chassis together with the related charging system and high-voltage battery.

The electric motors operate on the electrically stimulated synchronous motor concept, in which the rotor is moved by a perfectly regulated electrical feed rather than by fixed permanent magnets. This makes it possible to completely avoid using essential rare earth metals (necessary for magnetic components) while making the rotor.

A model-specific mounting design, newly developed noise encapsulation for the electric motors, and enhancements to the electric drive units’ acoustics all contribute to the first-ever BMW i7 xDrive60’s virtually silent power delivery.

The motor powering the rear wheels has a maximum output of 230 kW (313 hp), while the motor powering the front axle has a maximum output of 190 kW (258 hp). The two drive units together provide a maximum combined power of 400 kW/544 hp and a total torque of 745 Nm. The first-ever BMW i7 xDrive60 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds thanks to all of this.

Underpinning the majestic dynamic prowess of the first-ever BMW i7 xDrive60 are its electric all-wheel drive and its precisely tuned driving stability systems headlined by the near-actuator wheel slip limitation.

Due to the remarkable efficiency of the current BMW eDrive technology, combined electric power consumption on the WLTP test cycle ranges from 19.6 to 18.4 kWh per 100 kilometers. As a result, the first-ever BMW i7 xDrive60 can claim a WLTP cycle range of 590–625 kilometers. The first-ever BMW i7 xDrive60 has an electronically capped peak speed of 240 km/h.

Every purchase of the first-ever BMW i7 comes with a BMW i Wallbox that will be installed by BMW i partners in the customer’s home.

The BMW Wallbox Gen 3 offers a quick method to charge their car at a rate of up to 11kW while combining BMW i design and dependability. When the vehicle is plugged in, the charging process starts and ends when the battery is fully charged or reaches the pre-set threshold.

The smart battery management system makes sure that the charging efficiency and battery cell longevity are optimally balanced. The first-ever BMW i7 is also compatible with all public charging stations, which are extensively dispersed around the country.
