Epson, the undisputed champion of desktop color label printers in the ASEAN region for an impressive four-year streak (2018-2021), is taking its product line to new heights with the introduction of the cutting-edge ColorWorks C4050.

The ColorWorks C4050 is a game-changing device meticulously designed to deliver superior print quality and seamless system integration. It caters to businesses seeking on-demand color label solutions, particularly those operating with a high mix, low volume requirements, and the need for multiple label variations.

The ColorWorks C4050 outshines its predecessor, the C3510, by incorporating Epson’s latest PrecisionCore TFP Printhead technology.

This groundbreaking upgrade enables the production of high-quality printed labels with unprecedented efficiency. By employing the Micro TFP PrecisionCore print chip, the new PrecisionCore Printhead ensures precise ink placement at lightning-fast speeds.

As a result, the C4050 achieves astonishingly sharp images with a maximum resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. And not only does the ColorWorks C4050 enable accurate on-demand color label printing, but it also significantly reduces labeling costs through paper and ink conservation features.

To prolong the lifespan of the printhead, the C4050 is equipped with an Auto Head Maintenance feature. This system utilizes Nozzle Verification Technology (NVT), allowing users to schedule automated checks and cleaning routines to prevent nozzle clogs.

Additionally, businesses can select the appropriate print mode based on the media they use, and the printer offers Matte Black or Gloss Black ink cartridges for optimal compatibility. With the addition of Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow DURABrite Ultra Pigment premium water-resistant ink, the ColorWorks C4050 can easily handle basic printing tasks, producing vividly colored labels.

The C4050 revolutionizes printing by providing unparalleled flexibility in supporting a wide variety of inkjet label substrates like high-gloss, matte, or synthetic material. Moreover, it offers two media feeds: roll labels and folded labels, making it suitable for diverse label production requirements

Wi-Fi connectivity can also be unlocked through a separate dongle accessory.

The C4050 boasts compatibility with Mac and Linux systems and supports popular middleware such as BarTender, NiceLabel, and CodeSoft. For businesses looking to develop programs to control the printer, ESC/label command support is available.
