Warner Bros. Discovery scored 193 Primetime Emmy nominations, with HBO/HBO Max receiving 140 Emmy nominations across 24 original programs for the upcoming 74th annual Emmy Awards.
HBO/HBO Max earned the most nominations for a single network or platform this year, marking the 20th time in history that the HBO brand has received the most Primetime Emmy nominations of any network/platform in a single year.
This bests HBO’s previous record of 137 nominations in 2019.
The 74th annual Emmy Awards will be presented on Monday, September 12.

Succession receives 25 nominations including Outstanding Drama Series. It will compete with another HBO contender Euphoria for the award.
Euphoria receives 20 nominations with Zendaya up for Oustanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and Sydney Sweeney for Outstanding Supporting Actress.
Other HBO shows receiving included in this year’s Emmys are The White Lotus, Hacks, Barry, Station Eleven, A Black Lady Sketch Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Flight Attendant, Insecure, The Staircase, Scenes from a Marriage, The Gilded Age, and The Righteous Gemstones.
DC’s Peacemaker also grabs a nomination for Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Comedy or Variety show.
Additionally, the Harry Potter anniversary special and Lakers documentary are also up for awards.
A couple of the network’s originals have also been noticed. These include Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, The Survivor, and George Carlin’s American Dream, among others.
Warner Bros Television Group-produced shows such as Ted Lasso and Abbot Elementary, Conan, and even Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty will be appearing at this year’s awards program with nominations in tow.
