HONOR is set to bring its thinnest foldable phone, the Magic V3, to the Philippines.

Having already gained attention worldwide, the HONOR Magic V3 stands out for its ultra-thin build, which recently gained international recognition during a Guinness world record attempt.

In this event, the Magic V3 was placed atop a 54-level house of cards, constructed by renowned architect Bryan Berg, where it remained for 8 hours without causing any disruption. This impressive feat highlights the phone’s lightweight design and stability — an important selling point in the foldable phone market, where build quality often comes under scrutiny.

One of the defining features of the Magic V3 is its premium design, which boasts a titanium hinge. This plays a crucial role in achieving its slim profile, enabling smooth and seamless folding without compromising on strength.

For its specs, the flagship Magic V3 launched with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 7.92-inch LTPO AMOLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits peak brightness, 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.

The HONOR Magic V3 also boasts the highest water resistance rating among foldable phones.

The HONOR Magic V3 is also AI-ready launching with Google Gemini-powered features such as live translation, circle to search, and more. The HONOR Magic V3 will most likely run HONOR’s MagicOS 8.0.1, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly interface. The phone is powered by a 5150mAh battery, which supports 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

On the camera front, the HONOR Magic V3 is equipped with a versatile triple-camera setup designed to capture stunning photos in various scenarios. The main camera features a 50MP sensor with a f/1.6 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) complemented by a 50MP telephoto lens with f/3.0 aperture and OIS, offering a 90mm equivalent focal length for 3.5x optical zoom. Rounding out the setup is a 40MP ultrawide camera with a f/2.2 aperture.

As to when it will be available in the Philippines, HONOR hasn’t officially announced a date but the company did assure that it will be very soon.
