instax intros Gold and Silver colorways for the Mini Evo hybrid camera

Limited-edition cameras are a familiar sight from Fujifilm, with the recent launch of the special edition Fujifilm X100VI being a prime example.

However, for its 90th anniversary, Fujifilm is offering something particularly special for its instant camera fans — an instax Mini Evo 90th Anniversary Bundle, a striking addition to their lineup. Alongside it, there’s also a new instax Mini Link 3 smartphone printer.

The instax Mini Evo 90th Anniversary Bundle introduces two new gorgeous colorways for the instant camera—Dark Silver and Titanium Gold.

Each camera in the bundle is accompanied by a matching lens cap and camera strap, both color-coordinated to the camera (either Gold or Silver accents), along with a specially designed camera case.

Apart from looks, the instax Mini Evo retains all the same functions — a hybrid camera merging digital convenience with the nostalgia of instant film.

Serving both as digital camera and a portable printer, the instax Mini Evo has come to be well-loved. The camera is also the only one in the lineup to offer ten different film effects, including Vivid, Monochrome, and Sepia, and ten lens effects such as half-frame, double exposure, and fisheye.

Operations is through a 3-inch LCD screen and its built with internal memory for storing 45 images, expandable via a microSD card. Additionally, users can wirelessly connect their smartphones to print photos directly from their devices.

The instax Mini Evo 90th Anniversary Bundle is priced at US$ 229.95  and is expected to be available around October of this  year. The standard Mini Evo hybrid retails for US$ 199,

In addition to the anniversary camera, Fujifilm has also launched the instax Mini Link 3 smartphone printer.

The instax Mini Link 3, when paired with the free INSTAX MINI LINK App, offers a suite of new and unique features including the INSTAX AiR Studio — an augmented reality (AR) feature that lets users add 3D effects to their images before printing.

With it, you can customize your photos with backgrounds, decorative elements like balloons and garlands, and even animations. Users can save up to 20 AR-enhanced creations within the app.

AnAlso new is Click to Collage that lets users capture a series of up to six images at three-second intervals. These are are then automatically combined into a collage and animated. This collage can be printed onto an instax Mini photo or shared directly to social media.

The Mini Link 3 also introduces Triple LED Lighting for the first time in the INSTAX LINK series. This feature uses bright pastel LEDs on the front panel to indicate the printer’s status and battery level.

The instax Mini Link 3 will be available in three colors: Rose Pink, Clay White, and Sage Green.

It is expected to launch in late August for US$ 99.95. Alongside the Mini Link 3, Fujifilm will also release a new instax Mini instant film called Sprinkles, featuring a rainbow sprinkle border design. This new film will be available in late August for US$ 15.75.
