Today, home cinema entertainment brand JMGO launched direct sales for the O1 Pro, co-engineered with Leica, an ultra-short-throw (UST) LED projector with a minimalist industrial design.
Thanks to the global support in the O1 Series Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign ran in June, raising more than $860KUSD, O1 Pro is now available for super early-bird pre-order for US$ 999.99 (approx. PhP 51,028) on its official website, and shipping starts on February 11.
It will also be available on Amazon in March alongside the JMGO O1 base model.

“UST projectors are all the rage due to their usability in small spaces. But, depending on their light source, they come with their share of problems,” says Will Wang, Chief Product Officer of JMGO. “UST laser projectors are bright but expensive. UST lamp projectors are bright and affordable, but less durable. UST LED projectors are affordable, boast a long lifespan, and generate less heat than lamp projectors, but they come with a tradeoff in picture quality.” “We partnered with Leica Camera to overcome the limitations of the LED light source by developing our most powerful light engine and optimized the optical path,” continued Wang. “As a result, O1 Pro has all the benefits of a UST projector, and its image with Leica standards is brighter and more vivid, with better focus and less stray light than any other LED model available.”
This technological feat of offering the UST experience by way of LED at an affordable price point innovates an entirely new category within the projector space.
Now, more viewers than ever can benefit from space-saving, portability, uninterrupted and eye-friendly viewing, and the more intuitive audio experience of having sound come from the same direction as the image—all of which can only be achieved by a UST projector’s proximity to the wall. O1 Pro is the premium model of the O1 series.
The compact design is versatile and can easily be set up in any space, on any wall. It features immersive stereo sound co-created and tuned with
Dynaudio, is powered by the top-of-the-line flagship chip in the smart TV and projector industry (MediaTek MT9669), has a short throw ratio of 0.21:1, 6000:1 contrast ratio, and picture distortion controlled within 0.5%, can project a 70-110” screen from just 9” away in FHD and is 4K compatible.
The optical engine was jointly developed through the strategic partnership with Leica Camera redefines the home cinema experience.
“The successful market launch of the jointly developed LED projector JMGO O1 Pro, co-engineered with Leica is a successful start to our partnership. We look forward to further cooperation and the joint development of high-performance products.
The promising home cinema entertainment market is the ideal environment to leverage Leica’s expertise to offer customers a high-quality image and home cinema experience,” says Matthias Harsch, CEO of Leica Camera AG.
O1 Pro includes other smart features such as wall color calibration, auto keystone correction and autofocus, an eye protection mode that senses when a pet or person approaches, built-in Alexa for voice control of movies, music, smart home control, news, weather, and more, and a 24/7 Companion Mode OS, called Luna OS featuring music visualizer, message board, digital art gallery, and more.
The projector also has a front AI camera that enables gesture control (mute and unmute as well as pause and play of local videos) and brightness adjustment to project the best image with various lighting conditions.
