Lenovo launches AI-Powered laptops with Snapdragon X Elite

Lenovo has introduced the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, its first generation of Copilot+ PCs powered by Snapdragon X Elite.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x – The smarter way to create

The AI-powered Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x is ideal for creators who want to spend less time on mundane tasks and more on creative endeavors.

Powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor, which includes a 12-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU, Qualcomm Adreno GPU, and a dedicated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, this laptop delivers top-tier performance with AI processing speeds up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS).

The Yoga Slim 7x features a 14.5-inch 3K (2944 x 1840) PureSight OLED touch display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits peak brightness, and support for both 100% sRGB and P3 color gamuts. It is VESA Certified DisplayHDR True Black 600 and offers Dolby Vision and TÜV Low Blue Light Certification. With a 70WHr battery, the Yoga Slim 7x promises up to multi-day battery life, ensuring uninterrupted work sessions.

The laptop includes an FHD MIPI IR Webcam and four microphones for clear video calls. Dolby Atmos Audio with a four-speaker sound system ensures high-quality audio. Weighing just 1.28kg (2.82 lbs) and as thin as 12.9mm (0.51”), it also boasts a premium keyboard with 1.5mm key travel and a large trackpad for better typing feel and precision.

Sustainability is a focus, with the Yoga Slim 7x featuring eco-friendly design and packaging. It comes in FSC-certified paper boxes and uses dry-pressed paper pulp for cushioning. The included system bag is made of bamboo fiber. Lenovo’s CO2 Offset Service allows users to offset the estimated CO2 emissions of their device over its lifecycle by purchasing credits to support verified climate action projects.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x will be available from June 2024, starting at US$ 1,199. It is perfect for creators on the go, offering advanced photo and video editing capabilities, high-definition audio, 4K streaming, and enhanced security features.

Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6

The ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 is Lenovo’s first commercial Copilot+ PC, offering a significant leap in AI-powered computing for business users. It features the Snapdragon X Elite processor with an integrated Adreno GPU and a 45 TOPS NPU, providing exceptional on-device AI capabilities.

iT offers multiple display options, including a 14-inch WUXGA 16:10 IPS display with 400 nits brightness, a WUXGA 16:10 IPS touch display with DBEF and 400 nits brightness, and a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with 400 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, Dolby Vision, and HDR True Black 500.

With a 58WHr battery, the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 ensures multi-day battery life, making it ideal for business professionals. The laptop is also equipped with an FHD+IR MIPI camera with a privacy shutter and dual microphones, ensuring excellent video collaboration capabilities. Dolby Audio enhances sound quality.

Weighing just 1.24kg (2.72lbs) and as thin as 16.9mm (0.67”), the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 offers robust connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G capabilities. It includes essential security features such as a fingerprint reader and dTPM, ensuring data protection and user privacy.

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 will be available from June 2024, starting at US$ 1,699.

Windows on Snapdragon for Enterprise

Through a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies and Microsoft, Lenovo has optimized over one hundred enterprise software applications for Windows powered by Snapdragon. This collaboration focuses on device management, collaboration, productivity, and chip-to-cloud security, working with partners like DynamoAI to enhance efficiency and protection.

The ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 offers robust ThinkShield security features, including AI-powered threat detection and self-healing firmware, ensuring comprehensive protection for enterprise users.
