We recently got our hands on the Lenovo Legion Go and it’s quite the machine. Being both a capable productivity and gaming device, you’ll want to invest in a couple of accessories to make your experience even better.
If you’ve just gotten your Legion Go, we do have a beginner-friendly guide ready but if accessories and peripherals are what you’re after, read on.
Dbrand Legion Go Tempered Glass
The Lenovo Legion Go’s best feature is its display and you’ll want to protect that at all costs. Tempered Glass is always reliable and this one fits the Legion Go really well. It also has an oleophobic coating to reduce fingerprint marks and it comes with a cleaning kit, too.
Alternatively, the JSAUX screen protector does a good job as well and comes in a 2-pack.
JSAUX Steam Deck Dock
It’s labeled as a Steam Deck dock but works perfectly well with the Lenovo Legion Go. Luckily too since this is one of the most popular docks around as you’re getting a bunch of additional ports including ethernet and HDMI.
UGREEN 145W Power Bank
A pain point of the Lenovo Legion Go is its battery life — especially when you’re playing more demanding games. We were able to clock in about 2 hours or so before we were hit with a low battery warning and it doesn’t take long for the device to shut down after that.
With 20,000 mAh of juice and support for 100W charging, the UGREEN 145W power bank is a very good partner for the Legion Go if you plan on playing untethered.
Anker Nano II 65W charger
The Lenovo Legion Go does come with its own charger but it is pretty big and may be a hard carry when you’re travelling. You can opt for something like this Anker Nano II charger which has a much smaller footprint than the original charger and is more wallet-friendly than the power bank.
Microsoft Xbox controller
I suppose this goes without saying. The Xbox controller works perfectly with the Legion Go and if you played on a modern handheld console, you’ll know the strain it entails on your hands. Especially if you’re just using just one of the controllers at a time.
Since the Lenovo Legion Go has a solid kickstand, partnering it with a controller makes for an instant upgrade to your portable gaming setup.
Bluetooth keyboard
Whether for gaming or productivity, there are many ways the Lenovo Legion Go can benefit from a keyboard. If you have the bag space and really plan to use it for gaming, you can always go for a compact gaming keyboard like this one. But if your main purpose is mostly typing and navigation, you can always opt for something more portable and easy to stow like this one.

JBL Quantum TWS gaming earbuds
Since this is a portable gaming machine, you’ll most likely be using it in public spaces where you’ll probably have a hard time hearing. Low-latency earphones like the JBL Quantum TWS gaming earbuds can help you stay immersed in the game.
tomtoc carrying case
While this was designed for the Steam Deck and ROG Ally, you can also use this for the Lenovo Legion Go. You can detach the controllers for a better fit and you can also squeeze in other accessories as well. It’s much slimmer and more compact than the case the Legion Go comes in plus its a shoulder bag so it’s easy to carry.
Lenovo USB-C hub
The Lenovo USB-C hub expands the connectivity options of your Legion Go, allowing you to plug in multiple devices at once. From external storage to gaming peripherals, this hub ensures that you can connect all your gadgets seamlessly for an enhanced gaming setup.
SanDisk Extreme Pro 1TB MicroSD card
Though there is some arguement to whether playing off a microSD card is ideal, many users have reported smooth gameplay even for heavier games. Though nothing beats running games of the Legion Go’s SSD, the amount of internal storage is conservative so having a high-performance microSD card will allow you more games on your device.
Legion Glasses
While not so essential, or not essential at all, the Legion Glasses are a great buy for the Legion Go.
Te Legion Glasses offer a personal, big-screen experience through a pair of displays hidden in Rayban-looking shades. Useful if you’re always on the go and want privacy, the Legion Glasses are the way to go. The frame also houses speakers that are seated near your ear so everything is pretty audible.
Available at Lenovo Legion retailers nationwide.
