MIAS 2023: Subaru Philippines unveils three SUVs

-

Motor Image Pilipinas Inc, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, has announced the launch of three new vehicles at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). The new models are the Evoltis, Outback, and Forester GT Edition — all of which offer advanced safety features and versatility for drivers.

The Evoltis is Subaru’s 7-seater full-sized SUV that offers ample space for families while being packed with advanced safety features, making it a great choice for those who prioritize practicality, peace of mind, and luxury. The new Evoltis is equipped with Enhanced EyeSight 4.0, Subaru’s signature driver assist technology, providing owners with an even safer and more comfortable driving experience.

The EyeSight system is capable of recognizing pedestrians and two-wheeled vehicles traveling at slower speeds, while features like Pre-Collision Braking and Lane Departure Prevention have been added to the Evoltis, fulfilling Level 2 ADAS semi-autonomous driving technology.

Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are also standard safety features in the new Evoltis. The electronically controlled power-assisted brake system gives drivers greater control and precision when braking for added confidence and security no matter the situation.

In addition to its advanced safety features, the new Evoltis has luxurious Nappa leather seats and generous space for up to seven adults. The second-row captain seats provide easy third-row access, while the all-new Cabin Connect function enables drivers to amplify their voice to third-row passengers via speakers for safe and comfortable communication.

The new Evoltis cockpit features Subaru’s Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Multi-View Monitor System. DMS utilizes a dedicated camera atop the dashboard and facial recognition software to monitor signs of driver fatigue or inattention while driving and alert the driver accordingly.

Its Multi-View Monitor System provides a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the area around the new Evoltis to help the driver maneuver safely while reversing or parking.

The new Outback, on the other hand, combines the drivability of a station wagon with the versatility of a Sports Utility Vehicle. The 2023 Subaru Outback is designed for exploration and versatility and represents the true adventurous spirit of Subaru. The redesigned alloy wheels and cabin convenience changes enhance the overall driving experience of this versatile, practical SUV.

It comes with EyeSight Driver Assist technology, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and pre-collision braking, among others. The Outback is equipped with an advanced infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, enabling drivers to stay connected while on the go.

Finally, the Forester GT Edition offers a sportier take on the popular SUV. The Forester GT Edition features a more powerful 1.8-liter direct injection turbocharged engine that delivers 177 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. It also features a sporty exterior with unique GT Edition badging and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The Forester GT Edition comes with EyeSight Driver Assist technology and Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-Drive), which allows drivers to choose between different driving modes that suit their driving style and conditions.

Overall, the new Subaru models offer advanced safety features and luxurious amenities that cater to different kinds of drivers. Subaru strives to push boundaries, raising the bar in innovation while providing best-in-class safety. The new models should be perfect for those who prioritize practicality, peace of mind, and luxury.

Catch these vehicles at MIAS 2023 happening until April 16, 2023.
