MIAS 2025: VinFast Launches VF 6 Electric SUV and Free EV Charging Program

VinFast officially launched the VF 6, a fully electric B-segment SUV, at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Alongside the debut, the company introduced a free EV charging program through V-GREEN and announced new partnerships with prominent Philippine banks and dealerships to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in the country.
The VF 6 is available in two variants in the Philippines:
  • VF 6 Eco – PHP 1,419,000
  • VF 6 Plus – PHP 1,610,000

Deliveries of the VF 6 Eco variant are expected to begin in May 2025.

VinFast is also launching a buyback program offering up to 90% of the vehicle’s original value. This program applies to the entire VinFast lineup, making the transition to electric vehicles more accessible and less risky for potential buyers.To complement this, the company is expanding its showroom network, which will improve accessibility to electric vehicles in key urban areas.

Free Charging Program

As part of its commitment to green mobility, VinFast is rolling out a free charging program valid until May 1, 2027. The program is available at V-GREEN charging stations across the country. The V-GREEN network aims to deploy 15,000 charging ports by the end of 2025, offering more convenience for VF 6 owners and enhancing the EV infrastructure in the Philippines.

All about VinFast VF6

The VF 6 boasts a modern design, created in collaboration with Torino Design, and is built with VinFast’s distinctive design language. It measures 4,241 mm in length, 1,834 mm in width, and 1,580 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,730 mm. The VF 6 offers an interior space typically found in C-segment gasoline models, thanks to the advantages of its EV architecture.

Under the hood, the VF 6 is powered by an electric motor that delivers up to 150 kW of power and torque of 250 Nm (Eco) or 310 Nm (Plus). The VF 6 offers an impressive range of up to 480 km on a full charge (NEDC standard), making it an ideal choice for modern families.

Safety is also a priority with 20 advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) features and eight airbags included as standard. The VF 6 comes with a 7-year or 160,000 km warranty, whichever comes first, and a nationwide network of authorized service centers, including trusted partners such as Motech and JIGA, which will bring the total number of service centers to 100 by the end of 2025.

Expanding the Electric Vehicle Ecosystem

With the launch of the VF 6, VinFast’s presence in the Philippines now includes nearly its entire electric vehicle lineup, including the VF 3, VF 5, VF 7, and VF 9. Visitors to MIAS 2025 can explore and test drive the VF 6 along with other VinFast models.

In addition to the VF 6, VinFast signed memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with two major banks, EastWest Bank and Banco de Oro (BDO), to help Filipinos transition to a greener lifestyle. These partnerships aim to offer financial solutions that will support VinFast’s green ecosystem.

Expansion Plans in the Philippines

As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, VinFast also announced partnerships with eight local distributors to open new showrooms across the Philippines. These collaborations will see key players such as Autoflare, Xentro Mall, Semicon, EV Tech, Xentro Motors, Cagara, Toncars & Wheelworld, and Autohub opening multiple locations throughout the year. Notably, Autoflare will launch 20 showrooms, and Xentro Mall will introduce 32 new showrooms and three VinFast 3S dealerships.

This expansion is part of VinFast’s broader strategy to establish a robust EV ecosystem across Southeast Asia. The company is committed to delivering high-quality vehicles while enhancing the region’s EV infrastructure, including the development of EV charging stations through V-GREEN.
