Canon EOS R5 and R6 arriving in PH this August

The two newest cameras from Canon with monster specs are officially arriving in the Philippines this month! We just received an invite to attend the digital launch this coming August 12, 2020, over at Canon Philippines’ official YouTube channel.

As mentioned before, the EOS R5 comes with a 45-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and is powered by a DIGIC X image processor. It’s also capable of shooting up to 20fps at full resolution, even with AF and AE tracking.

The EOS R6, on the other hand, comes with a 20-megapixel full-frame sensor with a native ISO of up to 102,400. AF points have been increased for both cameras and are accompanied by the new Dual Pixel CMOS AF II. Stabilization should also be handled well by its In-Body Image Stabilizer.

There will be a lot of features that photographers can take advantage of, but videographers will especially love the new offerings of these cameras. You can read more about our article on what the Canon EOS R5 means for videographers.
