On its 20th year, HFA will honor twenty motoring journalists and editorial teams who have demonstrated excellence, utmost professionalism, and social responsibility in their field of work.

  • Two (2) special industry categories include Best Automotive Section for Broadsheet and Best Automotive Online Publication, recognizing media outlets and editorial teams.
  • Five (5) recipients of the newly-introduced Go Further Changemaker Award which will honor journalists who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help his or her fellow countrymen during the Covid-19 pandemic through acts of goodness, programs, and initiatives that benefitted front liners, patients, and the public at large.

Journalists can submit their nominations and entries in the regular, special Ford, and Go Further Changemaker categories.

“The 20th installment of the Henry Ford Awards will be more meaningful not only because it’s a milestone year but also because now more than ever, we want to recognize and pay tribute to our esteemed group of motoring journalists for keeping the industry alive and thriving despite the pandemic,” said EJ Francisco, AVP for Communications, Ford Philippines.

“On our 20th year, we will be honoring 20 journalists, media outlets, and editorial teams who have shown excellence, dedication, and passion to their craft to keep the motoring public informed and engaged amid the very challenging times,” added Francisco.

This year’s entries will undergo a two-phase judging process, with each phase having its own set of judges composed of respected professionals from the academe and automotive-related industries, as well as practitioners in photography, video production, creatives and design, digital publishing, and corporate social responsibility.

Winners will be announced and recognized during the awards ceremony in early 2021.
