The new Sony HT-G700 soundbar is a partially-wireless system that can produce 7.1.2 surround sound for that totally immersive experience. It even upgrades regular stereo sound so that consumers are always given the best quality available.
Equipped with Sony’s Vertical Surround Engine, users can enjoy the full sound of Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. This technology allows the soundbar to create the illusion of depth and space with sounds that seemingly come from different directions.
The HT-G700 consists of the main wired soundbar and an additional 400w wireless subwoofer for added bass and depth. The dedicated center speaker ensures that voices will be clear and recognizable. There are also multiple modes to choose from that range from auto to standard surround, cinema, and even voice.
Connection is easy with a single HDMI cable that can connect to TVs, gaming consoles, or media players. Purists can opt for an optical digital input for that full-bandwidth sound. It’s also capable of wireless connections via Bluetooth.
The Sony HT-G700 will retail at US$ 599.99 and is now currently available on Amazon and Best Buy as well as authorized dealers in the US.
