The two brands are kicking off their local presence with three models: the Omoda C5, a turbocharged crossover; the Omoda E5, an all-electric option; and the Jaecoo EJ6, a performance-driven SUV.

As sub-brands of Chery, Omoda focuses on futuristic and urban-centric models, while Jaecoo leans toward rugged, off-road-ready SUVs. Here’s a closer look at what each model has to offer.

More Models on the Way

Beyond the three launch models, Omoda and Jaecoo are set to introduce five more vehicles in the Philippines: the Omoda C3, Omoda C7, Jaecoo J5, Jaecoo J7, and Jaecoo J8. While details are yet to be confirmed, these models could expand the brand’s presence across multiple segments, further diversifying the local market.

Omoda and Jaecoo’s entry into the Philippines adds new choices for buyers looking for stylish, high-tech, and safety-focused vehicles. With a mix of turbocharged, hybrid, and electric options, the two brands are positioning themselves as strong contenders in their respective categories.

Whether they gain traction will depend on factors such as local pricing, after-sales service, and how they stand up against established competitors. But with their first three models offering a mix of performance, features, and long warranties, Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines could find an audience among Filipino car buyers looking for something different.
