Smart lighting company Philips Hue has released a slew of new products but one of the most interesting ones is the US$279 Twilight lamp that supposedly supports your natural circadian rhythm.
Design-wise, the Philips Hue Twilight lamp adopts a Nordic, minimalist look and is available in two colors — white and black.
It comes with two light sources that can be controlled individually — one for the tiltable main head and another acting as a backlight for your wall. There are two buttons on the lamp that you can use to control it but, being a smart light, you can always use the app or Alexa/Google.
The buttons on the lamp are also customizable so you can set them to your most used light settings. By default though, these will cycle through the new light scenes introduced with the Twilight.
In addition to the Twilight, Philips Hue also introduces a new light strip, ceiling bulbs, and more.
Starting with the Philipis Hue Datura. This is a smart frameless ceiling light that also comes with two controllable lights. Apart from warm and cool light, the Datura also has different customizable color effects.
It comes in two sizes — 15-inch and 22.6-inch — with a retail price of US$ 299 and $399 respectively.
Philips also adds a new, more affordable light strip with the Solo. Unlike its available light strip, the Solo offers just a single color and is designed more for accent lighting. It is a cuttable light strip that is offered in 3, 5, or 10 meters and is priced at US$69.99, US$ 89.99, and US$ 159.99 respectively.
Expanding its Lightguide line after a couple of years of not releasing new products, we have a new globe and triangle-shaped lights in different sizes that go for US$ 79.99 to US$99.99 depending on the size and design.
And if you already have Hue bulbs, Philips also released 3D-printed Conte table lamp bases. Unfortunately, these are exclusive to the European market. Some other region-exclusive products that will not be available in the US include the Tento ceiling light and some bulbs.
