Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Blade Philippines has launched a partnership with Philips bringing its new line of Ultinon Access LED bulbs to the country.
The Ultinon Access LED lineup was created to make the switch from halogen to LED much easier without sacrificing performance. Unlike competitor products, these bulbs claim superior beam performance and durability given its Philips branding and product history.
There are a few variants to choose from: Ultinon Access H7 and its Ultinon WeatherVision counterpart. Being both LED, you get the well-known benefits of being brighter and lasting about 4-6x longer than halogen lights. One of the higlights of this product is its easy installation as well. It’s tiny and you need only minimal experience and tools.
There are a couple of differences between the two, however, the first being its color temperature.
The Ultinon Access emits a cool white 6000K light while the WeatherVision projects the more ideal halogen-like, warm glow at 3500K color temperature. Additionally and as expected, WeatherVision is designed for more challenging environments like rain, fog, and even snow by reducing glare and ensuring better visibility for the driver.
The Ultinon line of LED replacement bulbs is also compatible with most halogen light vehicles and even motorbikes that are fitted with H4 or H7 docks. Blade says that it will soon stock the bike-specific Utinon Moto 1000 by Q3 of this year.
Philips Ultinon Access LED bulbs are available at Blade stores around the country. It’s also available online through Blade’s official Lazada store. Additionally, you can get a chance to win an Ultinon Pro 3100 by participating in the Philips Challenge at the Blade Auto Store along Mindanao avenue this April.
