Global sportswear giant Puma is set to make its presence felt in the Philippines with the launch of its autumn/winter collection, which will hit the market in July this year.
The invite-only AW23 collection preview party was an ode to the streets and people of Manila, in line with the brand’s “FOREVER FASTER” mantra.
The AW23 collection preview featured activewear designed for Filipino street-style and sports enthusiasts. The collection was showcased on a Manila-inspired runway that celebrated Filipino resilience, pride, confidence, and bravery. The fashion show also featured prominent Filipinos who embody Puma’s core values.
Former motorsports and racing driver Marlon Stöckinger, Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza, actor Daniel Matsunaga, and model Santino Rosales walked the runway for the AW23 collection preview.
Puma’s expansion plans are not limited to opening new stores and increasing its presence in the country. The brand is also proud to introduce Kai Sotto as its first-ever Filipino brand ambassador. The announcement came with a short video of Kai Sotto greeting his Filipino fans, which was a pleasant surprise for guests at the preview party.
Puma’s entry into the Philippine market signals a new era for the sportswear industry in the country.
The brand’s emphasis on supporting key athletes, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and cultivating a strong community aligns with the country’s increasing interest in sports and wellness. Puma’s AW23 collection preview was not just a fashion show, but a celebration of Filipino values and a testament to the brand’s commitment to promoting a more active and vibrant lifestyle in the Philippines.
