Just after the very recent launch of the 6i, two new phones are joining the realme family in the Philippines – the realme 6 and the realme 6 Pro.
The realme 6 comes in two variants with the more affordable 4GB RAM plus 128GB storage retailing at PhP 11,990. The second variant that comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at PhP 13,990. Both variants come in a choice of two colors: Comet White or Comet Blue.

The company’s newest mid-ranger, the realme 6 Pro, will have only one variant that houses 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It’s priced at PhP 16,990 and comes in either Lightning Blue or Lightning Red. There is a Lightning Orange color as well but realme hasn’t announced its availability locally.
The more affordable realme 6 adds to the variety of gaming phones that the company already offers. This new smartphone promises even smoother performance and gameplay having been equipped with a MediaTek Helio G90T processor and two high-performance cores. It houses a 6.5-inch 90Hz Full HD+ Ultra Smooth display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080.
For cameras, the realme 6 carries a quad-camera system that’s composed of a 64-megapixel main camera, 2-megapixel macro, 8-megapixel wide-angle, and 2-megapixel portrait camera. Around the front you’ll find the in-display front camera housing a 16-megapixel shooter.
Moving on to the realme 6 Pro, this new mid-ranger was created with content creators and photography enthusiasts in mind. Carrying a total of 6 cameras, the realme boasts of an upgraded quad-camera system housing a 64-megapixel main camera with up to 20x zoom, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 12-megapixel telephoto, and a 2-megapixel macro.
Around the front we find not one but two in-display selfie cameras: a 16-megapixel shooter and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle.
Internally, the realme 6 Pro is the world’s first phone to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. This new processor boasts of a 10% increase in CPU performance and a 75% improvement in GPU performance. As mentioned earlier, it will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.
In terms of battery capacity, both devices carry the same 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC Flash Charge technology. Like the 6i, both the realme 6 and realme 6 Pro now carry USB Type-C ports for charging.
On launch day, realme will be offering a discounted price for the realme 6 on Lazada. Additionally, the first 200 customers will receive the realme band, the company’s wearable, for free. On May 30 to 31 as well as June 6 to June 7, realme will also be hosting a special offline sale and will give away limited-edition squad bags to purchasers.
