Sony has revealed two new headphones dubbing them the lightest headband models yet — the over-ear WH-CH720N and the on-ear WH-CH520.
The WH-CH720N is priced at PhP7,999 while the WH-CH520 is at PhP3,299. Both units are now available in all Sony Authorized Dealers nationwide.
Dual Noise Sensor technology and Sony’s Integrated Processor V1 chip are used in the over-ear WH-CH720N wireless headphones to enable noise cancellation. Two microphones, found on each earcup, work with the Dual Noise Sensor to capture ambient sound to better block out external sound for a better, more personal, listening experience.
It also features a lightweight design for all-day use and up to 35 hours of battery life allowing you to listen to music uninterrupted for a longer period of time.
The WH-CH520 on-ear wireless headphones, on the other hand, offer up to 50 hours of battery life and improved call quality to suit your day’s demands. It’s also available in more colors: black, blue, white, or beige. It also features soft earpads and an adjustable headband with padding for added comfort.
Both the WH-CH720N and WH-CH520 Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) offer natural vocals, pristine sound, and balanced tuning, providing a high-quality sound just as the artist intended.
The WH-CH720N’s processor, which reproduces your music’s detail with little distortion, also creates an authentic listening experience. Natural and clear vocals are purposefully mixed with a sound tuning that is well-balanced from low to high frequencies.
For calls, the WH-CH720N offers Precise Voice Pickup technology and newly-developed Wind Noise Reduction Struction. Working together, background noise is effectively reduced for clearer, uninterrupted conversations.
The on-ear WH-CH520 offers excellent call quality and simple hands-free calling. No need to take your phone out of your pocket to answer calls — just press one of the buttons on the earcup. The WH-CH520’s high-quality microphones and noise suppression processing capture sound and lower background noise during calls so you can have clear conversations even in loud settings as well.
The WH-CH720N and WH-CH520 both provide a multipoint connection, simple button operation, and voice control. Both also work with the Sony | Headphones Connect app for more in-depth customization and settings.
Sony also made sure these headphones were created with the environment in mind. The packaging for the WH-CH720N and WH-CH520 was made using low-toxicity design principles and is in line with Sony’s “Road to Zero” environmental strategy. Both headphones are made of recyclable plastic.
