Already itching to play Ghostwire: Tokyo? Well, good news! Tango Gameworks and Bethesda have just announced a free visual novel available on PlayStation 5 and 4 as well as on Steam and on the Epic Games Store.
Acting as a prelude, players will meet KK, a spirit detective who, in the upcoming game, possesses the main character Akito and gives him special powers in the process. The visual novel will also feature KK’s band of supernatural detectives and will have players join the troop in investigating a disappearance. But what seeming seems to be a simple case evolves into something more sinister.
As visual novels go, players will be able to make choices to progress the story. Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude is now available for free for PlayStation consoles and will follow to Steam and Epic Games Store on March 8.
As for the main game, Ghostwire: Tokyo is on schedule to release on March 25 for PC and PS5 but if you want to be ahead of everyone else, purchasing the Deluxe Edition through the PlayStation store will grant early access on March 25 as well as a Streetwear outfit pack, Shinobi outfit, and Kunai.
