Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is gearing up for the finale of its motorsports season with Race Weekend 3 of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup (TGR Philippine Cup) on November 9 at the Clark International Speedway in Mabalacat, Pampanga. This final race weekend will determine the season winners of the annual racing series.
Admission to Race Weekend 3 is FREE. A complimentary shuttle service is available from SM Clark to Clark International Speedway and back, running every hour from 8AM to 5PM.
Fans can also catch the races live on the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines Facebook page, with the livestream starting at 9AM.
Race Categories
The weekend will kick off with Sprint Races for the Novice, Promotional, Sporting, and Super Sporting classes. Racers earn points based on their performance, and the highest scorer after three race weekends will be crowned the season winner.
Notable racers include Reph Bangsil, Lexi Mendiola, media racers Jamil Lacuna, Jose Altoveros, Pablo Salapantan, and John Rey San Diego, alongside sim racer Russel Reyes and TMP President Masando Hashimoto.
Reyes currently leads the Novice class standings, with Lacuna and San Diego in close pursuit.
Sporting Class Highlights
- Sporting Class: Leading racer Jiro Garbes (Inbox – Toyota San Fernando), followed by Jarond Mesina (Team Toyota Cebu) and Danzel Waytan (JD Motorsports – Ribbon Arc).
- Super Sporting Class: Iñigo Anton of Toyota Balintawak – Obengers Racing Team in first, Russel Cabrera of Team Toyota Cebu in second, and Red Diwa of JBT Racing / Toyota Isabela in third.
- Promotional Class: Bong Garbes of Inbox – Toyota San Fernando leads, followed by Julia Delos Angeles (Toyota San Jose Del Monte, Inc. – Obengers Racing Team) and Rex Abrenilla (Team Toyota Cebu).
Special Track Events and Activities
After the sprint races, GR performance car owners will have exclusive access to the track. Fans can witness the GR Supra, GR Yaris, and GR 86 in action. Professional drifters Dane Cruz and Hans Jimenez will also showcase their skills in a drifting exhibition using the GR 86, with select fans invited for a thrilling ride-along experience.
The day concludes with the season’s final Endurance Race, a 1.5-hour circuit event where racers from all classes compete. Points earned here contribute to the overall season tally.

Fans can engage in sim racing at the TGR GT Cup booth, explore sponsor booths for exclusive products, participate in games for prizes, and purchase official TOYOTA GAZOO Racing merchandise.
