Companies coming up with electrified versions of classic or popular offerings isn’t a new trend Toyota’s latest reveal is sure to excite.
While still a concept, Toyota unveiled an electrified Land Cruiser just a few days shy of the Japan Mobility Show.
As futuristic as Kia’s EV6, the Toyota Land Cruiser SE is portrayed in digital renders as a space-age-looking vehicle while possibly retaining a bit of its off-road capabilities. Compared to its gas counterpart, this EV looks sleeker, lower, and leaner-looking, overall.
Its unibody look adds to that futuristic feel and is appropriately flourished with sleek, thin light bars both on the front and rear, and subtle light accents.
Toyota didn’t delve into the specifics of what powers this vehicle but what it did confirm was its dimensions. A seven-seater SUV, the Toyota Land Cruiser Se measures about 202 inches long, 67 inches tall and 79 inches wide, and provides three rows of seats.
Apart from that, everything else is under wraps. It is a concept, after all, and we’re still unsure if this vehicle will even make it to the market.
