United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI) has sent out invitations to an exclusive gathering. For the uninitiated, UAAGI holds the reins as the distributor of Foton trucks, commercial vehicles, and Chery crossovers. Needless to say, the company has a proper foothold in the automotive industry.

Held at Aurora Café in Makati City’s Pacific Star building, the occasion initially intended as a Chinese New Year thanksgiving luncheon has kicked off.

Following Rommel Sytin’s opening remarks, Froilan Dytianquin, Marketing Director of Chery Auto Philippines, took the stage. After which, he then proceeded to introduce its newest Chief Marketing Executive — Lyn Manalansang-Buena.

She is formerly the Executive Vice President of The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) — distributor of Chevrolet and founding distributor of MG, now under SAIC Motor Philippines. Lyn brings over twenty-five years of automotive marketing experience to her new role.

Lyn has been currently entrusted with overseeing marketing operations for Chery, Foton, the forthcoming Lynk & Co. premium Chinese brand. With a powerhouse team from some of the nation’s most successful automotive brands, we’re looking forward to UAAGI’s upcoming announcements.
