From Gundam to Pokemon to featured artwork from the MoMA, Uniqlo invites all fans to “Wear Your World”  for the 2022 UT Convention.

Uniqlo will be putting its UT lineup in the spotlight this month. Fans will find various collections that feature popular titles and icons in the world of art, film, gaming, and more. During the 2022 UT Convention held last May 13, the company showcased various pieces from each collection including the much-awaited Final Fantasy 35th anniversary collection.

Also present were pieces from famous anime titles like Gundam, Doraemon, and Pokémon. Additionally, there are also designs featuring Lego and Mickey & Friends.

Stepping away from pop culture, the UT Convention also showed off apparel that features art pieces that can be found at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The company also partnered with international cooperative Magnum Photos for another art-inspired collection.

Also available are designs that won the recent UT Grand Prix design competition which challenged contestants to create artwork based on the popular comic strip and show, Peanuts.

Uniqlo has also introduced a new creative director for its UT brand, Kosuke Kawamura. Having designed for various apparel brands before stepping in, Kawamura also directed and created materials for live performances, events, DVD and CD jackets, book, covers, and advertisements. He had also designed the previous Dragon Ball UT collection.
