What we know so far

With the V25 series, vivo treated us to a fun color-changing back but for the next-gen V-series devices, a more functional feature has been added — the Aura Light.

In place of the usual LED flash bulb, vivo integrates a small right light instead. With it, vivo says users can achieve a softer light, mimicing those used in sutdios or portrait photography.

The smartphone manufacturer is said to have collaborated with Sony to develop its specialized ultra-sensing sensors, which ensure higher-quality images even in low light or dark environments.

This is in keeping with the brand’s tradition of working with global leaders and innovators in the imaging industry, as it did with ZEISS for the vivo X80 Series. Fans can take more steady photos and get better action shots because to the modified sensor’s optical image stabilization (OIS) features in addition to its ability to create brighter images.

To reduce  shaky videos, the vivo V27 series will also offer EIS+OIS Hybrid Image Stabilization, the same tech found on vivo’s flagship devices.

Up front, the new devices will supposedly offer powerful 50-megapixel camera with enhanced auto-focus that can quickly track and record faces.

Along with new hardware and software features, it’s expected that vivo’s signature features will also be present including the Photochromatic 2.0 color-changing tech found on last year’s devices. This year, the V27 series will also continue the slim and flat profile with minimalism as its main design philosohphy.

Interestingly, the upcoming vivo V27 series is looking quite similar to the vivo S16 Pro launched in China both in looks and specs. The V27 series has already been launched in India with a global release expected within the same month.
