2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E boasts longer range, faster acceleration and charging

Ford has just unveiled the brand-new 2024 Mustang Mach-E and it’s all about pushing boundaries, delivering more range, faster acceleration, and quicker charging times.

The 2024 Mustang Mach-E brings several noteworthy improvements to the table. First off, the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E now has a longer leash with an extended EPA-estimated range of up to 320 miles on a single charge. Ford also improves its performance with the introduction of a new rear motor and some efficiency tweaks. The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E delivers quicker acceleration, achieving zero to 60mph in just 3.3 seconds, outperforming the Tesla Model Y and Porsche Macan 4.

With speed and distance covered, Ford also makes sure to provide its customers convenience as well by improving on charging speeds. The new Mach-E can charge from 10% to 80% in about 35 minutes using a DC fast charger. Ford says that its users can now also access the Tesla Supercharger network by using an adapter for Tesla’s NACS chargers.

Inside, we’ve got a redesigned center console with the 15.5-inch touch display still the main focal point. Considering the input of its customers, Ford has now added new button icon designs and redesigned the UI so controls and data are much easier to access. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto still come standard as well as Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free driver assitance.

The 2024 Mustang Mach-E lineup offers various price points. The Select trim, with rear-wheel drive and standard battery, starts at US$41,890. Stepping up to the Premium trim with the same powertrain raises the price to US$45,890, while the GT model comes in at US$55,890. Adding the Performance Upgrade will set you back an extra $995, and opting for the Rally model will cost US$61,890.
