Huawei MateView GT priced in PH, up for pre-orders

Huawei has officially announced the arrival in the Philippines of its MateView GT.

Early bird customers looking at upgrading their gaming rig can get first dibs on the flagship gaming monitor through its pre-order promo from July 6 to 15. In its pre-order phase, the Huawei MateView GT will retail locally for PhP 28,999 and will come with a free Huawei Classic Backpack worth PhP 5,990.

The arrival of the Huawei MateView GT in the Philippines marks the tech giant’s official entry into the smart monitor landscape. The curved gaming monitor is a high-end device with a luxury feel and appearance, a sports car-like design, and outstanding levels of performance and reliability.

With the launch of the Huawei MateView GT, Huawei Philippines aims to propel the fast-growing e-sports industry in the country, aiding a new generation of Filipino champions in their gaming conquests.

The Huawei MateView GT features a 34-inch  screen with an ultra-wide aspect ratio of 21:9. Coupled with a 1500R super-curved design, the screen surrounds provides an immersive, super large-screen experience. It also achieves a screen resolution of 3440 x 1440.

With a cinematic 90 percent P3 color gamut and 10-bit color depth, the screen displays 1.07 billion colors with smooth and natural color transitions and Δ E < 2 professional-grade color accuracy. This enhances the overall visuals of the display, making them more vivid and realistic.

The Huawei MateView GT also boasts a 165Hz gaming-grade refresh rate for an intensely smooth display. The new Dark Field Control instantly lights up the battlefield with a three-position adjustable display. It also supports Crosshairs that helps gamers to quickly target their enemies.

Complementing this flagship display is the unique SoundBar design of Huawei MateView GT, which perfectly integrates the dual speakers with the base. The dual 5W full-range speaker units are tuned by Huawei’s own intelligent algorithms for a fuller sound.

Lastly, as a solution to eye fatigue caused by long hours of screen exposure — a common concern among gamers — Huawei MateView GT filters out harmful blue light and offers a more comfortable viewing experience.

It also supports DC Dimming technology to eliminate flickering that is known to cause eye fatigue. This technology earned the device the industry-renowned TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.

The Huawei MateView GT is available for pre-order on the official Huawei online store and flagship stores on Lazada, Shopee, and Huawei Experience Stores.
