Hycan makes PH debut, intros 3 new EV models

Hycan, a prominent Chinese automotive brand, has made its debut in the Philippine market through Transcorp Group, a subsidiary of Sinoequip Incorporated and Transequip Enterprises.

The joint venture between Guangzhou Automobile Group Company Limited and Guangdong Pearl River Investment Management Group has brought forth a lineup of electric vehicles, setting up its inaugural showroom at 88 West Service Road in Valenzuela City.

The initial offerings from Hycan Philippines include three distinct models: the V09 multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), Z03 sport utility vehicle (SUV), and A06 Plus sedan. These vehicles showcase a blend of cutting-edge technology and elegant design, catering to diverse consumer preferences.

The flagship model, Hycan V09, boasts impressive specifications, standing 5,215 millimeters (mm) long, 1,967 mm wide, and 1,910 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,170 mm. It features a sleek exterior design with illuminated logos, LED lighting, and chrome accents.

The interior is furnished with luxurious leather seats, multiple LED screens, and advanced amenities, powered by an electric mill delivering up to 271 horsepower and 335 Newton-meters of torque.

The V09 comes equipped with various safety and convenience features, including hill hold control and regenerative braking, priced at P3.788 million.

On the other hand, the Hycan Z03 presents a dynamic SUV option, characterized by its sleek LED illumination system and stylish exterior. With a range of color options, the Z03 offers a comfortable cabin with electronically adjustable seats and a panoramic skylight.

It is powered by an electric motor producing nearly 215 horsepower and 225 Nm of torque, achieving a range of 620 kilometers, priced at P1.688 million.

Completing the lineup, the Hycan A06 Plus sedan combines simplicity with sophistication, featuring a sleek design and a range of advanced technologies. Equipped with a front-mounted electric motor, the A06 Plus offers a range of 520 kilometers, complemented by features such as braking energy recovery and cruise control.

Transcorp’s role in Hycan’s expansion into the Philippine market underscores the company’s commitment to sustainable transportation. As the demand for electric vehicles continues to rise globally, Hycan’s entry into the Philippine market signifies a step towards a greener future.

With their participation in the Manila International Auto Show, Hycan aims to showcase their models and contribute to the evolution of transportation in the country.

Ford Territory Trend review: A great kind of basic
