From the above specs, we see that both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are running on the same Snapdragon 865 CPU with options for either 8GB and 12GB RAM plus a tandem of 128GB and 256GB of storage. They also share the same Android 10-based UI layered with the company’s OxygenOS.

Although, that’s where the main similarities end. The 8 Pro, for starters, carries a slightly larger display with higher resolution and a faster 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also bigger and heftier than the OnePlus 8.

For cameras, the 8 Pro gets a bump in ultrawide resolution and receives an extra telephoto lens and a color filter that aim to reproduce better quality photos. The battery capacity is also understandably bigger and comes with fast wireless charging capabilities.

Now for the pricing, the OnePlus 8 will retail for US$ 699 (approx. PhP 35K) for its 8GB/128GB model and US$ 799 (approx. PhP 40.4K) for the 12GB/256GB offering. Meanwhile, the bigger 8 Pro will be priced at US$ 899 (approx. PhP46K) and US$ 999 (approx. PhP 51k) for the 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB variants, respectively.
