These are the 38 games confirmed for PlayStation 5

Last April, Sony promised its fans that the July issue of the official PlayStation magazine would reveal a list of confirmed upcoming games for the PlayStation 5. Meant to be physically available on June 2, it seems that the digital version of the magazine has appeared online and in fact does reveal 38 games that are now officially confirmed. Below is a tweet showing the cover of the upcoming PlayStation magazine:

Some titles such as Assasin’s Creed Valhalla have already been pre-empted and not surprising to see on the list. But it’s exciting to see other titles like Outriders and even The Sims 5 to be confirmed for Sony’s next-gen console.

Here’s the complete list of all 38 games confirmed for the PS5:

CHECK OUT: Sony announces ‘The Last of Us Part II’ limited edition PS4 Pro

It’s important to note, though, that not all these games will be available at launch. Some of them have been tagged for a 2021 release date while others have their release dates yet to be announced. Titles like Madden 21, Rainbow Six Siege, Godfall, and DiRT 5, though, will make it to the console’s launch window.

Considering that Sony still aims to release their next-gen consoles during the holiday season, we can expect this list to grow as the months go by.
