POCO has unveiled the two newest members of its X-series smartphones — the POCO X5 Pro 5G and the POCO X5 5G.
In the Philippines, there will be two variants available for the X5 PRO 5G, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+245GB, priced at PhP 16,999 and PhP 18,999 respectively.
The POCO X5 5G is also offered in the same configurations with the lower-spec variant at Php 14,999 and the top-spec at PhP 15,999. The X5 5G is exclusively available on Lazada.
An early bird discount is available for both variants starting February 7.
POCO X5 Pro 5G
For its Pro variant, POCO intros its first ever 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED flexible display. The addition of the new panel results in a lighter and slimmer device. The slimmest device ever in the series, in fact.
It also offers a high 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 and 10-bit color depth, and Dolby Vision.
At its heart is a Snapdragon 778 5G which should provide a good balance of power efficiency and performance.
For imaging, the POCO X5 Pro is equipped with a 108-megapixel main shooter with support for 4K video recording. POCO says that this year, the X5 Pro 5G can boast of notable camera improvement for photography, night mode, and setup.
It packs a 5000mAh battery that should be able to provide all-day power. Topping up is handled by 67W turbocharging that can fill up the battery to 30% in just 7 minutes.

While the POCO X5 Pro 5G heroes its cameras, the POCO X5 5G boasts balanced, all-around performance.
Also light and slim, the X5 5G also carries a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay with DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
It’s similarly built with a 5000mAh battery but supports 33W supercharging instead.
Its main difference would have to be its processor with the X5 5G being powered by a Snapdragon 695 chip instead.
