Samsung’s Galaxy A31 is an affordable phone with 5000mAh battery

Samsung has announced its new Galaxy A31 smartphone that packs a punch when it comes to features. It has a sizeable display, quad-camera setup, and a large battery to power the phone.

The newest member from Samsung’s affordable lineup of smartphones carries a 6.4-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. Right up there, there’s a noticeable waterdrop notch and it’s where the 20-megapixel selfie camera is positioned. For security, there is now an on-screen fingerprint scanner.

Turn it around and its 4-piece camera module will greet you. It’s equipped with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultrawide, 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor along with an LED flash.

For its internals, Samsung didn’t disclose the make of its chipset but listed it as an octa-core processor with a choice of either 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. There’s a microSD slot so you can expand your storage up to 512GB.

Its battery should not let you down easily since it’s packed with 5000mAh worth of juice. A 15W fast charging feature is also present.

Additional features include a 20:9 aspect ratio and Samsung Pay for cashless transactions. It will be available in Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush Red, and Prism Crush White.

There’s no final price announced as of yet, but since it’s coming from the A series of Samsung’s smartphones it should have a reasonable price.
