ShopBack launches ShopBack Travel Club

As part of this initiative, ShopBack will be hosting an influencer showdown and user content contest, where winners will be rewarded with an all-expenses-paid trip abroad and exclusive travel perks as members of the prestigious “club.”

During the first quarter of this year, ShopBack observed an impressive increase of over 20% in average transaction value, with the travel category experiencing a remarkable 3x growth in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) compared to 2022. The contest promises exciting opportunities for users and content creators to win exclusive perks and prizes. Partners such as Agoda and Booking.com will be providing free hotel stays in Bali, while Klook and other collaborators will offer additional discounts and perks.

To kick off the campaign, two groups of influencers will compete in a showdown set in the breathtaking destination of Boracay. These influencers will be tasked with creating captivating travel content to outdo each other. The luxurious Hue Hotels and Resorts Boracay has been chosen as the official hotel partner for the trip. In addition to enjoying a free trip and perks, the winning influencers will become the face of ShopBack’s travel campaign for the year.

Participating in the contest is simple for users. They can upload their travel videos on TikTok and Instagram Reel, mentioning the event tagline: “Get paid to travel with ShopBack.” Videos must tag @shopbackph and include the hashtag #ShopBackTravelClub.

The contest will be judged by renowned travel influencer Patrice Averilla, widely known as Avelovinit on social media, and Tripzilla.ph, the official media partner. Winners will be selected based on the following criteria: 40% judges’ scores, 30% reach on TikTok and Instagram Reel views, and 30% likes, comments, and shares.
