Smartscooter brand Gogoro opens first experience store in the Philippines

Gogoro Philippines officially opened its first experience center in Makati City as it prepares for its upcoming commercial launch in the country.

Located at 2/F, Greenbelt 4, Ayala Center, this state-of-the-art hub offers visitors an immersive experience, allowing them to explore Gogoro Smartscooters and their innovative battery-swapping technology.

Four models will be available at the experience center:

  • Gogoro S1: Inspired by supercars, the iconic Gogoro S1 features a chassis crafted from racing-grade aluminum.
  • Gogoro SuperSport: The high-performance Gogoro SuperSport is equipped with Gogoro’s cutting-edge SSMartcore Technology.
  • Gogoro Delight: Designed by an all-female team, the Gogoro Delight emphasizes rider comfort and functionality.
  • Gogoro Viva: The compact Gogoro Viva is perfect for city travel and requires no license or registration to ride.

Setting Gogoro apart from other options in the country is its Battery Swapping ecosystem. Set up in key locations in the Metro, Gogoro riders can simply replace their battery at these Battery Swapping stations — eliminating the need to charge more frequently. Initially, only a handful of locations are available but expansion should be seen as months pass.

Visitors of the GEC can experience how this works as well. The experience center also offers a wide variety of accessories for riders to personalize their Smartscooters, enhancing convenience, style, and functionality.

Pricing and availability

Gogoro Philippines is set to announce pricing and availability for some Smartscooter models on December 1, 2023, with additional models slated for early 2024.
