Toyota Raize prices and variants now official

If it seems like the Toyota is causing a commotion — there’s a good reason for that.

Now officially available in the Philippines, the Toyota Raize (pronounced like “race” but with a Z) is an all-new vehicle and one that’s easily tempting.

The Toyota Raize is one of the most awaited vehicles of the year. This 5-seater compact SUV is smaller than the RAV4 but still offers a comfortable interior and a roomy cargo space — perfect for trips out of town with friends or family.

It comes in an array of new and fun colors designed to match the vivid and active lifestyles of the younger driving generation.

The top-of-the-line 1.0 Turbo CVT variant is even offered in stylish two-tone combinations including White Pearl SE and Black, Turquoise Mica Metallic and Black, and Yellow SE and Black.

Other colors available include Gray Metallic and Silver Metallic — these are available across all variants. A special Red color is also available exclusively for the 1.2 G CVT variant.

Upfront, the G and Turbo CVT models come with split-type LED headlamps with line guides while both E-variants come equipped with sport halogen headlamps. Meanwhile, daytime running lights are available across all models.

Engine options include a 3-cylinder, 12-valve DOHC engine with VVT-i for the top-of-the-line Turbo CVT while Dual VVT-i engines are available for the rest.

For its interior, Toyota offers leather and silver accents for the Turbo CVT and G models. Urethane and silver accents, on the other hand, can be found on the Raize’s E models.

The Toyota Raize is equipped to handle modern technology as well. Both have support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which can be enjoyed on either an 8 or 9-inch display. And if you’re picky about audio, the more premium models also offer a 6-speaker system to complete the entertainment experience.

Two USB charging ports are available to charge phones, tablets, and more. There’s also a 12-volt accessory outlet.

Keeping true to its safety vision, Toyota also installs technology to assist drivers on the road and keep them and their passengers safe.

Onboard there’s Vehicle Stability Control and Hill Start Assist as well as Back Sonars. The Turbo CVT variant comes with an additional Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert as well as front side and curtain airbags. It also has front clearance sonars.

The Turbo and G CVT also come with back monitors.
